It was too amazing. The star stitching took me a while, but was well worth it in the end.

Unicorn Quilt for Maddy
It's been nearly four years since adorable Maddy transformed my friend Troy into a daddy. He was always destined to be one - he loves his nieces, so it was a happy accident that Maddy came into existence.
I asked him what colors or design he wanted Maddy's quilt to be. He said "whatever." So I ran with that. Instead of ordering fabric from Etsy (where I can find some really specific stuff), I ventured to Joann Fabric and procured the most amazing unicorn and rainbow fabric. I opted for insanely bright pink on the back, white binding, and silver thread for the quilting.
It was too amazing. The star stitching took me a while, but was well worth it in the end.
