The safari animal blanket was made for Brandon. His dad was a VP for the company my husband worked for at the time, and they were in the same fantasy football league.
I usually make quilts for people who understand the process of making something with your hands. Sometimes I make quilts and know that the handiwork, time, and love will be lost on someone. This is one of those quilts. Knowing all of this, I still put my heart into making something amazing.
As usual, the fabric is from Etsy and all other supplies are from Joann Fabric.
I opted for an squiggle pattern on the back. With some fabrics I know just what to do with a pattern. Others I get stumped and end up doing squiggles.
